Bonnie Epperson

Bonnie Epperson, age 86, of Glenwood, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021.

She was born on June 26, 1935, in Nashville, Arkansas. On February 27, 1954, she was married to Ernest Epperson who preceded her in death on June 29, 2019. She was also preceded in death by an infant son: her mother, Cordie Kersey Davis; two brothers, Buddy Davis and Doyle Davis; and her sister, Lois Thomas.

Bonnie worked over thirty-five years for the Glenwood Nursing Home and Murfreesboro Nursing Home. She enjoyed taking care of her parrot, Tweety, sitting on her porch and loved being with her two granddaughters.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lindell Ray “Lynn” Epperson and Betty Kay Epperson of Glenwood; two granddaughters and their husbands, Mellisa and Mike White of Eagle River, Alaska and Crystal and Lyndon Kennon of Waddell, Arizona; her step-grandson and his wife, Corey and Ashley Cogburn of Glenwood; her step-granddaughter, Renee Cogburn of Norman; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in the Lodi Cemetery with Bro. Tony Hill officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Gary Gehrki and staff, the caring and loving staff and administrators of Courtyard Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center, O. D. “Darris” Thomas and Rachel and John McAlister.

Memorials may be made to the Lodi Cemetery Association or Courtyard Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center, 2701 Twin Rivers Drive, Arkadelphia, Arkansas 71923.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
