Jon Edmison

Jon R. Edmison, age 82, of Little Rock, passed away January 11, 2021.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Thomasene Edmison; and stepmother, Ruth Edmison; and sister, JessieMae Armbruster of Little Rock.

He is survived by sister, Barbara Mize of Mabelvale; two children:  Patti (Mark) Bryant and Mike (DeDee) Edmison; six grandchildren:  Sarah (Jake) Ryan, Megan (Aurelio) Gomez, Justin (Kayley) Edmison, Jason (Katie) Edmison, Jessa Bryant, and Sydney Edmison; two great-grandchildren:  Emily Nora Gomez and Ian Michael Gomez all of Benton.

Jon was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene.  He served in the United States Navy and the Army.

Visitation held 12:30-1:30 PM, Friday, January 15 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street with funeral service following at 1:30 PM.  Burial at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas.  State of Arkansas COVID-19 Directives followed including:  Masks are required (not provided) and social distancing maintained.
