June Chunn Walters

June Chunn Walters, of Hot Springs, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021.

She was born in Shawnee, Pottawatomie, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edward Wilcox and Bertha Weatherly Wilcox. She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Herbert Chunn and Walt Walters; her most precious son, Paul Chunn; three brothers, Joe Wilcox, Tom Wilcox and Bill Wilcox; and two sisters, Helen Brock and Jo Ann Wright.

June loved the Lord. She was a wonderful Christian example and a witness to many. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and a former member of Lakeshore Heights Baptist Church and Fairdale Baptist Church. June was an accomplished artist, poet and cosmetologist. She was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by two grandsons, Jason Chunn and Jon Paul Chunn; one granddaughter and spouse; Morgan and Buddy Hackleman; two great-granddaughters, Riley Chunn and Addisyn Chunn; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 4, 2021, with Bro. Rich Wilhelm officiating in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in the Rush Fork Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Randy Bright, Joe David Young, Jimmy Tillery, Jon Chunn, Joey Walters and Josh Walters.
