Kessie Ritchey

Kessie Rochelle Ritchey-Gray, 33, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away May 6, 2021.  She was born August 14, 1987 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Teresa Gail Dorsey Gryder and Timothy Lynn Ritchey.

Kessie was a certified dental assistant and massage therapist. She adored her two sons who were the most important parts of her life.   Kessie was a feisty thing who was very adventurous and had a zest for life and all life’s experiences.  She was a spit fire who didn’t have a filter, she said exactly what she thought and meant every word.  She was very opinionated and had a colorful way with words.  Kessie expressed herself through her body, whether it was with her dancing or by her tattoos.  She had a smile that would light up the room and beautiful eyes which will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding Kessie in death are her grandparents: M.C. Dorsey, Bonnie Dorsey, W.M. Carmel Ritchey, and Daris Ritchey.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons:  Bryton Clement and Kye Beard; mother, Teresa Gryder and husband James; father, Timothy Ritchey and wife Gina; sister, Timika Nicholas and husband Eric; and many more relatives and friends who love Kessie and will miss her always.

Celebration of life will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Monday, May 10, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton, Arkansas.
