Margret Garner, 80, of Little Rock, Arkansas was born April 28, 1936 in Gelnhausen, Germany to Fritz and Paula (Eller) Emde, and she passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017.

She enjoyed life and was happy and content wherever she was. Her interests included reading the daily newspaper, fishing, roses and farming. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Margie Davis (Rick), Jimmy Garner, Barbara Armstrong, Reford Garner, Jr. and Patricia Ann Emde; seven grandchildren, Lewis Curtis (Jennifer), Troy Curtis (Jennifer), Alexa Montoya (Brandon), Brittany Garner, Jimmy Garner, Jr., Jesse Garner, Nathan Davis; nine great-grandchildren, Evan Curtis, Lucy Jane Curtis, Max Curtis, Jude Curtis, Alekszander Moreno-Curtis, Sarana Curtis, Kelsie Curtis, Adyson Curtis, and Ava Tietz; four brothers, Rudie Emde, Helmut Emde, Herbert Emde and Walter Emde.

Her daughter, Barbara Dian Garner, husband Reford Daward Garner and partner William Elam preceded her in death.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Farm to Table, P.O. Box 84, Scott, AR 72142.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2017, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Beebe Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.SmithFamilyCares.com
