Richard W. Emmett, Sr.

Richard W. Emmett, Sr., age 57, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021.

He was born on November 16, 1963, in Hot Springs, the son of Jack Emmett and Fredia Louise Miller Emmett Howell. On August 15, 1986, he was married to Vickie Lingelbach. He was preceded in death by his father, and his step-father, Oscar Gene Howell.

He was employed at Wright’s Food Center. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and especially fishing. A long time motorcyclist, he loved riding his bike but for everyday errands and going to work, you would always see him on his scooter.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Emmett; two sons, Richard Emmett, Jr. and Eric Emmett; his grandson, Hunter Lynn Emmett; his mother, Fredia Louise Howell, all of Glenwood; and his sister, Carolyn McKinney of Hot Springs.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home with cremation following.
