Ricky C. Oliver

Ricky C. Oliver, age 43, of Newhope, died Saturday, July 27, 2013.

He was born on October 3, 1969, at Nashville, the son of Charles Oliver and Elizaida Candelria Oliver. On December 12, 2008, he was married to Georgeanna Pitchford Oliver. He was preceded in death by his mother; and his brother, Charlie Oliver.

He was a millwright and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was a great Dad and always loved helping people.

He is survived by his wife, Georgeanna Oliver of Newhope; two children, Amalia Oliver of Newhope and Shawn Rider of Nashville; his father, Charles Oliver of Grants, New Mexico; three brothers, Tony Oliver of Newhope, Steven Oliver and Abraham Oliver, both of Grants, New Mexico; one sister, Carlene Grandison of Grants, New Mexico; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 3, 2013, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Bobby Lock officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
