Ruby Rachel Mitchell Moore

Ruby Rachel Mitchell Moore, age 90, of Glenwood, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015. She was born on April 10, 1924 at Newhope, the daughter of Raymond Millard Reid and Ova Alford Reid. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jewell Mitchell; her second husband, Clair Moore; her daughter, Ruby Faye Mitchell; and two sons, Steve Mitchell and Mike Mitchell. She was a member of the Lodi Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dwyane "JD" and Sue Mitchell of Glen Rose, Gary and Cindy Mitchell of Chico, California and David and Holly Mitchell of Long Beach, California; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glen Reid of Glenwood and Gene Reid of Kirby; two sisters, Martha Westfall and Sheryl Welch, both of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 15, 2015, in the Lodi Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Ray Short and Bro. Kenny W. Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment will be in the Lodi Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Kenny W. Mitchell, James Mitchell, Jesse Mitchell, Bo Mitchell, Paul Walter and Mitchell Walter. Honorary pallbearers will be Erick Mitchell and Larry Mitchell.
