Shirley Jeanette Franks

Shirley Jeanette Franks, age 82, of Hot Springs, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021.

She was born on October 6, 1939, in Hot Springs, the daughter of David Holland and Bessie Petty Holland. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud Franks; and one sister, Lee Johnson.

Shirley was a Christian in her faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who delighted in her children and grands. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Shane and Patsy Ann Anderson of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Paul Douglas and Doris Faye Anderson of Ashland City, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; Christopher Shane Anderson, Melissa (Tony) Raulerson, Keliegh Fay Anderson, Charles (Amber) Anderson, Jaxon Monroe Collier Anderson, Alice Jean Collier, Margarete Mobley, Gina Farabee and David Brown, II; twelve great-grandchildren, Sheri Raulerson, Zander Anderson, Jenna Raulerson, Everleigh Rayne, Daylene Spring Collier, Jake Collier, Victor Hamilton, Grace Mobley, Ava Mobley, Mikal Farabee, Nathaniel Farabee, Elexis Marshall; one brother, Donald (Linda Kay) Holland of Royal; one sister, Pat Tackett of Hot Springs; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, December 11, 2021, with Bro. Alan Clark officiating in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be her family.
