Zachary Joseph Sirmon

August 21, 1982 — August 19, 2021

Zachary Joseph Sirmon, age 38, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021.

He was born on August 21, 1982, in Hot Springs, the son of Ricky Glen Sirmon and Wendy Carr Sirmon Singleton. He was preceded in death by his Nanie, Murel Carr; his Papa and Granny, Glen and Myrtle Sirmon; his stepfather, Chuck Singleton; and his cousin, Ian Smith.

Zach enjoyed listening to music, as well as playing the guitar and singing, and had a passion for writing poems, that he often would share with family and friends. He also enjoyed going fishing, even though he never really caught anything he said it was still just so much fun. Zach loved his family, especially their get-togethers, but what brought him the greatest joy and happiness in life was spending time with his two sons, whom he loved and cherished with all his heart. Zack is going to be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him, but he has left his loved ones with many lasting memories of him.

He is survived by his mother, Wendy Singleton of Daisy; his father, Ricky Sirmon of Kirby; his two sons, Phoenix Sirmon of Daisy and Eli Sirmon of Mena; his fiancé, Rachel Dickerson and her son, Blaze Dickerson, both of Athens; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Simon and Betsy Mack of Daisy and Mike and Denise Sirmon of Amity; four nephews, Austin Mack and Andrew Mack, both of Daisy, Madison Sirmon and Easton Sirmon, both of Amity; two uncles, David Sirmon and Keith Sirmon and his wife, Leslie, all of Daisy; three aunts, Shelly Craft and her husband, Jim, of Daisy, Kelly Alexander and her husband, Kevin, of Kirby and Sandy Coston of Royal; and numerous cousins, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
