Addie Mae Danehower passed away September 2, 2021. She was born on May 15, 1937 to Thomas and Lora Henley in Vilonia, AR. She leaves behind her husband of 39 years, Ron K. Danehower. Two sons, Thomas Bridges, Wesley (Karen) Bridges, daughters Pat Elledge , Anna Miner (Herb), Kim Wilson, Kathy Younger One sister Wanda (Ed) Bales. Grandkids Edward (Endia), Lynn (Katrina), Shannon (Jennifer), Shawn, Josh, Sydney, Nicolaus, Megan, JR, Ben, Amanda, Ashley, Kim, Kathy, Derek, Brittany and Mason. 21 Great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Nancy Morris, Lavada Waller and Valerie Lauder.
She was an amazing Military wife, mother, sister, friend and grandma. She loved cooking new recipes, making crafts and going to the local farmers market. She was a retired beautician, a very hard worker and gave one hundred percent to everything she did, especially her family. She can rest peacefully now with her Heavenly Father.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Griffin Leggett Conway Funeral Home. Due to Covid concerns a private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Addie’s honor to Meals on Wheels c/o Area Agency on Aging, P. O. Box 1795 Harrison, AR 72602 as she loved volunteering for them while living in Springdale.
