Agnes Myers

Agnes Sweeny Myers, 95, of Brinkley, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013. She was born September 5, 1918 in Sardis, Arkansas to the late Willie W. and Lena Shelnut Biggs. Mrs. Myers was a member of Primrose United Methodist Church and volunteered at St. Vincent Infirmary. She loved to crochet, knit and made many items for the Primrose United Methodist Church and The Compassion Center. She also liked to garden and fish.
She is survived by her husband, George Myers; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Spenser Hilton Sweeny, ten brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to Primrose United Methodist Church, 3006 W Dixon Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Primrose United Methodist Church. Burial will be announced at a later date. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Church. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
