Albert “Pop” Bland entered Heaven on July 15, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, Rupert and Dean Bland; as well as siblings, Pauline Liles, Neal Bland, and Judy Bland.
Albert was an outgoing, family-oriented man, who was known for his unwavering dedication to helping those in need, always willing to give the shirt off his back support others. In his free time, Albert found solace in his love for hunting and fishing, connecting with nature in a way that brought him peace and joy. He also enjoyed listening to Christian music, finding inspiration and comfort in its melodies.
Albert's warm and family-oriented nature endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His outgoing personality and hardworking spirit were matched only by his selfless acts of kindness towards his loved ones and the community around him. Albert will be remembered not only for his strong work ethic but also for his genuine and caring demeanor that brightened the lives of those he touched.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Terri Bland; one daughter, Misti Bland (Chris Baier); two sons, Jonathon Bland (Somer), and Zachary Bland (Tia); two sisters, Kay Tagert (Jesse), and Barbara Bland (James Mangum); and one brother, Wayne Bland (Ruby).
He was “Pop” to Ashley, Gracie, Riley, Madison, Keegan, Raylin, Kaleb and Beckett. Albert's memory will forever be cherished by his surviving family members and friends.
Open visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Lakeview Assembly Church.
Services are Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 4:00pm at Lakeview Assembly church located at 4524 Central Ave. Hot Springs AR 71913.
In lieu of flowers donations made to John 3:16 ministries in Charlotte, AR a place that he loved and supported, or donations can be made to Lakeview Assembly, his home church.
