Albert Wayne (A.W.) Hepp, 89, of Maumelle, AR passed away peacefully with his family in the home that he built and loved on April 2, 2026.

Wayne was born December 16, 1936 in Perryville, AR and is survived by his wife of 67 years Pat Hepp, Sons Richard (Julie-deceased), Kenneth (Marsha), Gary (Lesha), Sister Linda McNeal; Grandchildren: Kaylie and Noah Cone, whom they raised as their own, and a huge host of additional Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Leslie Robert Hepp and Rena Haggard Hepp, Stepmother Velma Hepp, Brother Johnny Hepp, Sister Barbara Garner, Son Robert Lee Hepp and Daughter Lori Anne Hepp Cone (Estes).

He was owner, founder, and CEO of A.W. Hepp Roofing & Sheet Metal Co. which he operated for 30 years with his family until his retirement.

Among the many things he enjoyed were outside family gatherings and functions, flying around the country visiting various places, fishing, boating, motorcycling, traveling in their RV, and spending time with his Shriner family.

He was a United States Air Force Veteran, a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scimitar Shrine Temple and the Elk Lodge.

One of his strongest passions was the Shriners Children’s Hospital, which he supported in several ways.

He touched the lives of all he met in a special way and will be greatly missed. Wayne’s motto was “Live life to the fullest.....JUST DO IT!!

A visitation will be held from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
