Albert Osborne

Our worlds changed on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 11:40 am with the passing of our beloved Daddy and husband, Albert Alton “Sonny” Osborne, also known as “Double A” by his ABF family.   Daddy was born March 3, 1944 to Albert Cecil “Jack” and Dona Hazel Brock Osborne of Des Arc.

He began his trucking career in 1969 with Subernickel, and East Texas Motor Freight that merged with ABF.  He retired from the trucking industry in 2001 from ABF.   Following in his footsteps in the trucking business are his two son, James Russell Osborne and Kenneth Wayne Osborne.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Remona Joe Highfill Osborne of Beebe. His two sons, James Russell Osborne of Beebe and Kenneth Wayne Osborne of Austin. His daughter and her family, Barbara Joe Talkington and husband, Ronnie. Three children Kristin Elizabeth Price (husband Bobby), Bryson David Sayles, and Lily Grace Talkington, Jesse Talkington (wife Abby) (great grandson Willard) of Arkansas.
