Albert “Red” Osburn

Albert “Red” Osburn, peacefully passed away January 5, 2025. Born September 27, 1951, in Little Rock, AR, Red was a proud high school graduate and a dedicated machine operator for Arkansas Face Veneer. Many will remember him not only for his hard work but also for his warm and engaging spirit.

Red's family was paramount in his life. He cherished every moment spent with them, leaving no visit without uttering the words, "I love you." This simple yet powerful expression reverberated through the bonds he forged, reminding each person of their special place in his heart. He is survived by brothers: Kenneth Osburn and Ronald (Cindy) Osburn; along with nieces and nephews: Daisha, Kevin, and Jeannie. The memories they created will forever be a testament to the love and joy they shared.

Throughout his life, Red was a man of faith, embodying a kind-hearted spirit that shone brightly. Although he couldn't frequently attend church, his deep love for Jesus was evident in the way he expressed kindness and generosity to those around him. His actions reflected a heart filled with compassion, embodying the teachings he held dear.

Red enjoyed racing, particularly at I-30 Speedway, where the thrill of the race mirrored his zest for life. Fishing also brought him joy as he found peace along the water's edge. He also relished cheeseburgers and footlong hot dogs from Sonic, washed down with his favorite, Diet Dr. Pepper.

Though Red is now reunited with his beloved parents, Earl and Marie Osburn, and his sister-in-law, Nona Osburn, his departure only strengthens the love he left behind. His legacy is filled with cherished memories and stories that will continue to bring smiles to faces and warmth to hearts.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Alcoa Pines as well as Gentiva Hospice, especially Kendra Griffin and Robbie Burns; the love and special care given to "Red" was seen, appreciated, and will forever be remembered.

The family will hold a private service to honor Red at a later date, so in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, ℅ 3817 Hobbs Dr., Benton, AR 72015.

In the memories of those who knew him, Albert “Red” Osburn will be remembered as having strong faith, and as loving family man and friend whose spirit will continue to inspire and nurture love in those lucky enough to have crossed his path.
