Alexander "Alex" Hamilton Hicks

Alexander “Alex” Hamilton Hicks, 31, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, passed away July 23, 2023.  He was born July 26, 1991 in Little Rock, Arkansas to David Hicks and Marge Bernier.

Alex enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.  He loved animals, especially snakes and dogs.  Alex earned his Eagle Scout rank with the Boy Scouts, a badge only six percent of Boy Scouts receive.  He was very intelligent and kind-hearted.  Alex was a gifted handyman and could fix just about anything. 

Preceding Alex in death are his grandfathers, Michael Hicks and Kenneth Bernier.

Alex leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Marge Hicks; father, David Hicks; brother, Zachary; sisters:  Dana and Denise; grandmothers, Claudette Bernier and Joyce Hicks; honorary grandmother, Doris Dickerson; aunt, Debra Davis; and a host of family and friends who will miss Alex always.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM, Tuesday, August 8, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton.
