Alfred Carl Fischer

Alfred Carl Fischer, 86, of Hensley, passed away on February 22, 2024. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 8, 1937, to Alfred and Ruby Fischer.

Bud was a people person, he always had something comical to say, and loved his wife and family dearly. 

Upon graduating high school, he went into the marines. After his tour ended, he began his career with TWA, he ended up retiring after 42 years of employment. Because of his wittiness and charming personality, he advanced many times. His career took him and his family through many exciting moves and promotions from Kansas City, Missouri to Miami, Florida. Prior to starting at TWA, he found his soon to be wife and best friend of 62 years. 

Bud is preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Ruby Fischer; sister, Gloria; brother, Joey; and his beloved wife Henrietta.

Bud leaves behind his daughters, Debi (Marty) Ransom, Suzanne (Jay) Muniz; granddaughters, Taylor (Trevor) Ransom, Joanna (Jesse) Muniz; great granddaughter, Gabby; and siblings, Bruce, Mark, Margaret, Sue, Mary Lisa.

Bud’s jokes and funny personality will live in us forever and he will be missed dearly.

Mass will be March 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 20 St Boniface Dr, Bigelow, AR 72016 with inurnment following.
