Alice Patricia "Pat" Sanders Braswell, 75, of Little Rock, passed away March 7, 2017. Born in Hot Springs to Jodie and Opal McClain Sanders, she was a member of Little Rock's First Baptist Church. Pat loved her church. She sang in the choir for many years and worked as a volunteer in various roles.
Pat retired from the Hearing Appeals Office of Blue Cross Blue Shield. Following retirement, she and her husband travelled extensively. One of her favorite destinations was the Holy Land of Israel, which became a family trip when both sons accompanied her most recently.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Glynn E. Braswell; sons, Glynn Braswell, Jr. of Arlington, Texas and David Braswell (Michelle) of Maumelle; grandchildren, Dylan Braswell, Hunter Braswell, Taylor Burks and Sydney Burks; brother, Rick Sanders and sister, Melba Sanders, both of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bob Sanders and a sister, Martha Bell Sanders.
Visitation will be Friday, March 10 from 5-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Saturday, March 11 at 9:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 62 Pleasant Valley Dr., Little Rock. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
