Alice Nipper

Alice Grace Anderson Nipper, 88, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born October 24, 1920 at El Paso, Arkansas to Ulric and Carrie Elizabeth Drennan Anderson and passed away Friday, June 5, 2009. She was of the Baptist faith, faithful Christian, devoted wife, hard worker, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a caring teacher and friend. She was a beautiful person inside and out, who loved everyone. Alice enjoyed cooking for her family and watching them eat as she "waited on" the table. Mrs. Alice taught the first and third grade students in the El Paso, Cabot and Beebe districts for thirty-seven years. Even though in their seventy's, she would see a former student and say, "That's one of my little boys or girls I had in the first or third grade." She kept every gift that one of her students gave her and told her family repeatedly who gave her each gift. Alice also taught Bible School for many years and was scheduled to work with the two year olds in Vacation Bible School next week. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In 1948, Alice married Ted Nipper. Together, they raised cotton and cattle on the family farm. Mr. Ted passed away in 2004. Also preceding her in death are her parents, Ulric and Carrie (Drennan) Anderson; one brother, Albert Anderson and a special uncle, Pete Drennan.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Sharon Lynch and husband, Mike, of Beebe, Arkansas; one son, Will Nipper and wife, Debbie, of Conway, Arkansas; grandchildren, Tad and Amy Lynch, Stacy and Clark Taylor, Kelsey, Shelby, Abby and Brinley Nipper; and great-grandchildren, Ava and Ali Taylor. She also is survived by her very dear friend, Naomi Noble.
