Alice Van Dyke Gardner, mother of Kathi Overby of Little Rock and Bob Gardner of Apopka, Florida, quietly passed away December 24, 2010. Born on August 13, 1927 in Miami, Florida, Alice leaves behind her beloved children, their spouses, Spencer Overby and Brenda Gardner, as well as six grandchildren and one niece.
Alice retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 31 years of dedicated service. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, love of ballroom dancing and sacrificial efforts to provide for her family as a single mother.
