Allen McAfee

Allen Dale McAfee was born January 11, 1954 in Jackson County, MO to Tommy and Bobbie McAfee. He passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the age of 69.  

Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Betsy McAfee; his parents, Tommy and Bobbie McAfee; and his brother, Joe McAfee. 

He is survived by his two children, Penny Johnson (J.J.) and Jimmy McAfee (Jamie); three grandchildren, A.J. Anderson, Brooklyn Anderson and Carson McAfee;  three brothers, Travis McAfee of Conway, AR, Clark McAfee of West Point, AR and Teddy McAfee of West Point, AR; and two sisters, Vickie Moon of Gans, OK, and Callie Hale of Garner, AR. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Dale enjoyed reading western novels and watching all the classic cowboy shows. He also loved spending time with family and was better known to them as Pawpaw.  

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2023 followed by a celebration of his life at 11 a.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr. in Beebe, AR. Allen McAfee will be laid to rest at Lebanon Cemetery in McRae, Arkansas.
