Alma L. Henthorn

Alma L. Henthorn, age 72, of Amity, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013. She was born on July 28, 1940, at Brewster, Washington, the daughter of Carl Self and Wilda Kyes Self. On December 27, 1960, she was married to Ray Henthorn who preceded her in death on March 29, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Terri Lynn Henthorn; and her grandson, Dusty Horton. She was a nurse and was Baptist in her faith. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and woodworking. She dearly loved her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Todd Samuel of Amity and Carrie and Lee Green of Lonsdale; three grandchildren, Lindsey Forrest, Jessica Johns and Justin Horton; five great-grandchildren, Hudson Horton, Hanna Horton, Caylee Forrest, Isaac Forrest and Harper Johns; one brother, Junior Self of Washington; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
