Alma Eudora Sheridan Scroggins, 86, of Benton, Arkansas passed away March 31, 2017. She was born March 5, 1931 in Bauxite, Arkansas to the late Thomas and Beulah Sheridan.
Alma was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adored her two granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Edward "Eddie" Scroggins; and six brothers.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of over sixty-two years, O.C. Scroggins of Benton, Arkansas; daughter, Rhonda Withem of Benton, Arkansas; granddaughters, Nicole Brewer and husband Chris and Rebekah Goshien and husband Rob of Benton, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Addison Brewer, Jackson Brewer, and Allie Goshien; sister, Millie Pettus of Bauxite, Arkansas; and a host of family members and friends who loved Alma and will miss her always.
Reception visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton. Funeral service, officiated by Bro. Scott Patton, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Smith-Rosemont Cemetery with Rob Goshien, Chris Brewer, Ronnie Milks, Robert Goshien, Wayne Richardson, and Bryan Milks serving as pallbearers.
