Alma Faye Wilson, age 89, of Amity, Arkansas passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Nightingale of Arkadelphia. Alma was born September 29, 1935 to Cora Faye Williams and Johnny Williams.
She is survived by two daughters, Shari (Paul) Cauchi of Amity, Denise Goff of Arkadelphia; one grandchild, Sarah Goff; and one great-grandchild, Jared Shearin of Arkadelphia; one brother, Roy (Judy) Williams; two nephews, Brian Williams and Keith Williams of Holyoke, Massachusetts; sister-in-law, Charlotte Williams; and nephew, Shawn Williams of Little Rock; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to niece, Mary Toomey.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Tommy Williams of Little Rock; and grandson, Jared Dean Goff of Arkadelphia.
Alma retired from Alltel after 20 years. After retirement, she worked part-time at Amity City Hall for 15 years.
She loved cooking and working in her yard, crocheting, and yard-sales.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel in Arkadelphia. Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Jones Cemetery in Amity with Brother John McAnally officiating. Pallbearers are Chad Smith, Barry Smith, Stan Smith, Dennis Ward, Ritchie Richardson, and Eddie Wilson.
