Aloys F. "Al" Pfeifer, 94, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, November 13, 2017. He was born August 27, 1923 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Frank and Rose Pfeifer.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Force in World War II as a mechanic and aircraft inspector, was retired from A.B.F. Freight in 1984. He was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in North Little Rock and was a Knights of Columbus member.
Al was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Eva Pfeifer; brothers, Bernard and Bill Pfeifer; sisters, Marie Harris, Vivian Flack, Virginia Paladino and Pauline Pfeifer. He is survived by his wife of fifty one years, JoAnn Pfeifer; his children, Rita Pfeifer, Margaret (Steve) Szafarz and Michael (Susan) Pfeifer; granddaughters, Natalie (Ryan) Robinson and Whitney Pfeifer; and his great-grandson, Coen Robinson.
Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
A Rosary Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, North Little Rock. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
