Alta Mae Brown, age 98, of Beebe, Arkansas was born December 5, 1909 at Olyphant, Arkansas to Albert Edward and Viola Dunaway Holliman and died August 31, 2008. She was a member of the Westside Church of Christ and a home maker. Alta was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Brown. She is survived by three sons; Ray, Bobby and Ronnie Brown; four daughters, Norma Davidson, Nadean Weir, Geraldine Durbin and Glenda Suttle; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren
