Alta Erline Hughes age 82 of Amity died Sunday, February 10, 2013 in Little Rock. She was born January 22, 1931 in Clark County Arkansas the daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Ida Belle Dunn Chitwood. She was a retired sales clerk and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Hughes and one sister, Marilyn Malcom.
Survivors are one son, Kenny Hughes and wife, Kim of Arkadelphia; one daughter, Janice Johnston and husband, Wayne of Amity; one sister, Peggy Fendley and husband, Ruben of Arkadelphia; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 14th at Brushy Cemetery near Alpine with Bro. Donnie Lewis officiating. Memorials may be made to Brushy Cemetery Fund.
