Alta Whitfield

Alta M. Whitfield passed away Friday, January 12, 2018, at the age of 88. She was a graduate of North Little Rock Senior High School, worked at Merle Norman and was a grandmother as well as a great grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Rick Whitfield (Vicki), and Danny Whitfield (Brenda); grandsons Matthew and Casey Whitfield (Spencer); granddaughter Alisa Ruffner (Dylan); two great-grandsons, Harrison & Zander Ruffner; and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband Coy E. Whitfield and son Barry.
A visitation will be held January 17, 2018 at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Both will be held at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
