Altha Brannon

Altha Brannon, 92, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019. She is survived by her children, Chester Brannon (Evelyn), Mary Strain (Glen), Harvey Brannon, Patsy Summers (Thomas); one sister, Barbara Fischlin (Paul) and a dear friend and “chosen” daughter, Cathi Hollis; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Flossie Roberts; her husband, Benjamin “Benny” Brannon; two sisters and three brothers.

Altha enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing and was a wonderful cook. She attended Calvary Apostolic Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 27th at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Donald Roseberry, Jr. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery, Hwy 89.
