Altha Dean Barton Sory, 79, of Lonoke passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009. She was a member of Cabot Church Christ and attended Sherwood Senior Citizen Center.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Sory, of Lonoke; four daughters, Rita Compton, of Sherwood, Elizabeth Robinson, of Mobile, Alabama, Gayle Orell, of Cabot and Becky Coaley, of Ward; four grandsons, Greg, Michael, Joey and David; six granddaughters, Ashley, Arin, Amanda, DeeDee, Rhonda and Janice; four great-grandchildren, Destynne, Hunter, Madilynn and Shawna; two brothers and one sister. She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Debbie Wear and Frances Fields; two grandchildren, Ricky and Deno; six brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children?s Hospital, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
