Alverta May Nee Anderson Hanna, age 87 of Little Rock, passed away January 24, 2013 at Little Rock. She was born on July 16, 1925 in Danville, IL; she was the daughter of George Anderson and Daisy Delores Anderson.
Alverta was a housewife and enjoyed Girl Scouts and being a Girl Scout Leader as well as playing the piano and organ. Alverta also liked music and pets.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother George Anderson.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Calvin Hanna of Little Rock; daughter Dolores Hanna Middleton of Little Rock; son Christopher Hanna (Bobbie) of Cabot and children Eddie and Vicki Nelson; nephew Brent (Amy) Illinois and children; and sister in law Shirley Anderson Illinois.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
