Alvis Herring

Alvis Gerald Herring, born January 2, 1939, passed away April 3, 2021 in Little Rock.  He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Rosalie Kraus Herring; children, Yvette Herring and Rachelle Herring, both of Austin, Texas; step-children, Dr. Jennifer McCallum and Dr. Gary McCallum, both of Little Rock, and David Rapp (Lisa) of Evergreen, Colorado; brother, Frankie Green (his late wife, Mary Lou); grandchildren, Nickolas, Benjamin and Dane; and step-grandchildren, Cole, Connor, Logan, Izabella, Elizabeth, Rami, Catherine and William.

Alvis retired as a manager from Texas Instruments. He loved to play golf and watch sports, especially baseball and football, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted and wonderful husband who was loved dearly by his wife and family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
