Amber Leigh Thompson

Amber Leigh Thompson, age 26, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Conway, Arkansas. Amber was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 17, 1993 to Steve and Gina Stockton. She graduated from Vilonia High School in 2012 and continued her education at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. She has been a Customer Service Manager at Walmart for the last several years. Amber was a strong and fierce friend to everyone who had the privilege to know her. She loved her life and her family deeply and always had a special way to touch our hearts and make us smile. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures – chatting with friends and family, cooking, and spoiling her nieces and nephews every chance she could.

She is survived by her husband Joe Thompson of Clarksville, Arkansas; parents Steve and Gina Stockton of Conway, Arkansas; siblings James and Ashlie Stockton of Brevard, North Carolina; Justin and Misty Stockton of Casper, Wyoming; and Hailey and Robert Williams of Jerusalem, Arkansas; Grandparents Barbra Fuqua of Morrilton, Arkansas; Bruce and Shirley Goff of DeValls Bluff, Arkansas; 4 nieces and 12 nephews; and many other family and friends.

Amber will forever be in our hearts and minds.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1:00PM at the First Baptist Church of Oppelo, 304 Hwy 9, Oppelo, Arkansas 72110. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Amber’s GoFundMe account, or mailed directly to 28 Rolling Creek Circle, Conway, AR 72032.
