Amos Wright

Amos A. Wright, 79, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019. He was born July 5, 1939 in Ashland, Kentucky to Amos and Myrtle Wright.

He worked as a contractor and was of the Baptist faith. Amos enjoyed outdoors, hunting, fishing and was a great whistler.

He is survived by his children, Alan Wright (Darlene), Dale Wright (Rhonda), Vicki Quattlebaum, Jackie Mokhberolsafa (Ali), William Wright and Christopher Wright (Deborah); sisters, Ruth Rawls and Jackie Brewer; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Emily Deloris Wright; daughter, Anna Marie Wright; one brother and two sisters.

A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2019 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 2nd at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
