Andrea “Susie” Fowler, 80, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025. She was born on March 12, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Waymon Westerman and Helen Westerman Mitchell.
Susie married the love of her life, Elton Fowler, on June 20, 1990, in Salem, Arkansas. Together they shared thirty-five years of marriage built on love, laughter, and deep devotion.
She was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, teacher, artist, and traveler. Susie’s creative spirit and passion for life touched everyone who knew her. Whether through her art, her teaching, or her warm friendship, she brought beauty and kindness into the world around her.
Susie is survived by her husband, Elton Fowler; her children, Kris Curtis (Jeff), Keelee MacDonald (Kim Kidwell), and Michael Fowler (Haley); her grandchildren, Jacey Curtis Gardner (Rex), Ethan MacDonald, Hayden MacDonald, Crafton Fowler, and Campbell Fowler; and her great-grandson, Jonas Story. She is also survived by her siblings, Carlos Westerman and Renee McClelland. She was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Luzietti, and her parents, Waymon Westerman and Helen Mitchell.
Her life was a testament to love and creativity, and her memory will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

A celebration of Susie’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, at Pinecrest Cemetery, 7401 Hwy 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choosing in her memory.
