Angela Tollett

We celebrate the life of Angela Gaye Goodson Tollett. Angela was born January 15th 1965 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late James Truman Goodson and Sandra Jean Thurston. 

Angela is survived by her husband of 30 years Teal Tollett Sr. Her children Ashley Burns (Briton), Kaci Tollett- Goss (Cody), Teal Tollett Jr, and Anjeline Tollett. Along with her five grandchildren who to them she was always known as “Gaga”. Aubriana, Alayna, Koltan, Shyanne, and Jackson. Two brothers Bart (Karen Sue), Chad (Jennifer), and her sister Karen Renee (Benny). She also has a huge host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

Angela loved and spoiled all of her babies. They always kept her busy and she would have given anything for them. She was a mother to many who weren’t blood, because with her they felt at home. Angela had a way to make people feel loved and welcome. She never met a stranger.  

On her free days she loved going to the lake and loved the beach. Calling herself “Malibu” she was always determined to have the best tan. Even going through the darkest times, Angela would never fail to show her light and humor. When she started laughing there was a chance she would still be laughing about the same thing an hour later. Angela was a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church and she loved Jesus. She enjoyed watching sermons and talking about the Bible. She also enjoyed making fresh flower arrangements every Sunday, music, and was considered a “bookworm.” Angela should be remembered for the happiness and love she carried with her everyday and is now at peace. 

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, August 8, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Funeral will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Crystal Hill Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
