Anita McMahon

Anita Ruth McMahon, 88, of Russellville, Arkansas passed away on February 8, 2022. She was born on March 15, 1933 in Marianna, Arkansas and was a graduate of Russellville High School. She would go on to college, attending Wichita State University where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Psychology. Anita would soon marry the love of her life, Tommy J. McMahon, and together they would build their lives. They would both work for the Boeing Plant in Wichita, Kansas and enjoyed traveling and living in various locations across the country until her husbands retirement. Anita enjoyed teaching, writing, gardening, and traveling the world. But her greatest accomplishment in her life was the privilege of raising her daughter, Robin, and grandson James.

She was a member of Church of the Assumption in Atkins, Arkansas and was of the Catholic faith.

Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy J. McMahon and her daughter, Robin Herrod. She leaves behind to cherish the memories is her grandson, James Herrod of Little Rock, Arkansas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00am at Holy Souls Catholic Church in Little Rock, Arkansas with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
