Anita Willett, 72, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026. For more than 30 years she had the love of her life by her side. Together they built a wonderful and loving family. She lived for her children and grandchildren. Anita treasured her role as “Maw Maw” above all others. She possessed a unique gift of making every person she met feel special, her heart had room for everyone, and her table was always open. Up until the end Anita maintained her kindness, grace, compassion and appreciation of beauty.

Anita was an avid gardener. She took great strides in making her home and yard a peaceful setting. You could always find her with her hands in the dirt and a smile on her face.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse J. and Beatrice Cline, her loving husband Donald R. Willett, Brother Kenneth Cline, and grandson Billy R. Longino III.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Matt Hammons (Stephanie) of Pollock, Louisiana and Don Willett (Angelica) of Beebe, Arkansas; daughters, Mashonda Goodman (Larry) of Georgetown, Louisiana, Kim Willett of Pollock, Louisiana, Brother Rod Cline of Pollock, Louisiana; grandsons, Braden, Camden, Christian, Lil Don, Trevor, Austin and Cody; granddaughters, Brittney R, Cheyenne, Morgan, Megen, and Brittney; 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Anita leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and an endless circle of friends.

A memorial service will be held at Big Creek Baptist Church, Pollock, Louisiana, on February 28, 2026, at 2:00pm. A meal will be served for family and friends after graveside service.
