On July 6, 2015, Anna B. Barnard went to be with the Lord. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville and formerly worked at Timex.
She is survived by her son, Charles T. Barnard of Sherwood; daughter, Linda A. White (Steve) of White Hall, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Alana Tarkinton (Travis), Jeff White (Faith), Daniel Barnard, Jeremy Barnard (Jaymee) and Chris Stewart (Michelle); two great-grandchildren, Josiah Tarkinton and Alaska White; brother, Henry Noland Harkey; sisters-in-law, Jewel Dodd and Edith Morris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Barnard; parents, Callie Mae Allen and Dan L. Harkey; two brothers, D.L. Harkey and James Larry Harkey; and sister, Emma Jean Gwin
Memorials may be made to Baptist Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72210 or First Baptist Church, 401 North 1st Street, Jacksonville, AR 72076.
A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jeff White, Daniel Barnard, Jeremy Barnard, Chris Stewart, Joseph Stricklin and Rick Duff. Honorary Pallbearer will be Sammy Crook.
