Anna Danette Harris

Listen to Obituary

Anna Danette Harris was born on August 18, 1952, and was called home on August 3, 2025. Anna is leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that will live on in all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dalton Harris.

Anna is survived by her daughters DeAnna Renneker (Charles), Jamea Ussery (Devin), and Roberta Garza (Eddie); her grandchildren, AudreAnna (Joseph), April (Ryan), Megan (Dakota), Marc, Sabra, Nicole, and Jassie; and several great-grandchildren who were the joy of her life.

Anna was a devoted wife, mother, and Mammaw – full of life and always smiling. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. A proud Razorback basketball fan, Anna also enjoyed front porch visits, trips to the casino, fishing, and singing gospel music. She played the guitar beautifully, loved to sing, and was never without a Coke in her hand.

Anna’s warmth, humor, and down-to-earth spirit touched everyone around her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Revelation 21:5 "Then the one seated on the throne said, "Look, I am making everything new."

I’ll Fly Away

Some glad morning when this life is o’er

I’ll fly away

To a home on God’s celestial shore

I’ll fly away

I’ll fly away, oh glory

I’ll fly away (in the morning)

When I die, hallelujah by and by

I’ll fly away

When the shadows of this life have gone

I’ll fly away

Like a bird from prison bars has flown

I’ll fly away

Just a few more weary days and then

I’ll fly away

To a land where joy shall never end

I’ll fly away
