Anthony Carl Scheri

Anthony Carl Scheri, age 33, of Hot Springs, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

He was born on August 2, 1988, in Toms River, New Jersey, the son of Robert R. Scheri and Lorraine Catherine Zullo Scheri.  He is preceded in death by his beloved wife and mother of his children, Leslie Ann Roberts Scheri, who passed away on March 15, 2021; his father, Robert R. Scheri; his step-father, William Hill; one daughter, Emery Jade Scheri; and his beloved grandparents.

Anthony was a 2007 Lakeside High School graduate.   He started bowling when he was in the sixth grade, he was a member of the Lakeside High Bowling Team for four years.  During his freshman year in 2003 to 2004, they claimed the very first Arkansas High School State Bowling Championship.  He and his brother, Mario, bowled together in high school, each witnessing the others first perfect score of 300.   He was employed at Sam’s, Gregg Orr Toyota and Cadillac and Lowe’s.  Anthony loved to fish with his friends and just enjoyed being in their company. Most of all he loved his children, his family and enjoyed spending time and living life to its fullest together.  He was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his son, Barron Anthony Scheri; his daughter, Billi Rose Scheri; his mother, Lorraine Scheri Hill; his brothers and sister-in-law, Mario Scheri and Brian and Iris Cooney; his sisters, Denise Hill, Bianca Harris and Ciara Scheri; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, April 1, 2022, in the Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
