Anyla Rae Anne Cogburn

Anyla Rae Anne Cogburn, of Glenwood, went to be loved in the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

She was born on December 11, 2024. She was the daughter of Ethan Ray Bankhead and Breanna Laray Cogburn. She is preceded in death by her great-grandmothers, Laura Cogburn and Geraldine Cogburn; and her great-grandfathers, Ray Ray Cogburn and Dewight "Bicibo" Cogburn. 

Anyla was the happiest baby. She loved being with her mama, posing for photos, looking at everything she could, and being in her mama's tiktoks. Her mama lovingly called her "Boot Boot." She will be forever loved by all.

She is survived by her mother, BreeAnna Cogburn; her father, Ethan Bankhead; her grandparents, Dawn "NeeNee" Caldwell, Waylon "PawPaw" Cogburn, Cynthia "NeeNee" Gilbert, Nathaniel "Poppa" Cogburn, and Karen "Gammie" Dean; her great-grandparents, Angie "Mammal" Dean and Becky "MeeeMaw" Perdue; her aunts, Ryssa Cogburn, Angel Bankhead, and Havan Gilbert; her uncles, Arrow Sutton, Nathan Bankhead, Ashtan Bankhead, Ian Cogburn. and Dagan Williams; her cousins, Ember Lynn Fryar; her special people, Kimberly King, Trent Hill, Braeylynn Hill, Klinton Hill, Chase "Bub" King, Chase Cogburn, Chloe Cogburn, Rena Welch, and Corey Dean; and there are many family members and friends that we know loved Anyla with their whole hearts. 

Pallbearers will be Aston Bankhead and Ian Cogburn.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ethan Bankhead, Nathan Bankhead, and Trystan Perdue.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, prior to services from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood. 

Interment will be held at Fancy Hill Cemetery.
