Arleda Long
Arleda (Gauntt) Long, of Little Rock, passed away April 26, 2013. She was born October 7, 1924 in Paron, Arkansas to the late Jacob Edward and Lillie Mae Gauntt. Arleda was a twenty year employee of AMF Corporation until its closure in Little Rock. She was also a member of Life Line Baptist Church of Little Rock.
Preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur (Willie) Long and three brothers, J.E. Gauntt, Lester Gauntt and A.L. Gauntt, she is survived by one son, Billie E. Long (Tina); two grandchildren, Gregory Long (Tammy) of Greenbrier and Jarrod Long (Danielle) of Jonesboro; two great-grandchildren, Peyton Long of Greenbrier and Braelyn Long of Jonesboro; as well as two sisters, Dolly Jungkind and Alvena Caffey, both of Little Rock and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Jeff Dial. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
