Arthur Rice
Arthur F. Rice, 95, of Round Rock, Texas, formerly of North Little Rock passed away Friday, July 20, 2012. He was of the Catholic faith, loved dancing, woodworking, short wave radio and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Rita "Cathy" Williams; son, Rick Rice and wife, Sheryl; seven grandchildren, Rita Woodward (Jeff), Rebecca Adair, Robin Craig-Carriaga, Heather Craig, Christa Carter, Amber Rice and Emily Rice; nine great-grandchildren; and his sister, Lorraine Dierking (Delmon). He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Rita Marie Rice and his second wife, Hazel Rice; sister, Ruth Stahlman; daughter, Ruth Ann Rice Craig; and his son-in-law, Loyd "Butch" Williams.
Memorials may be made to the University Village Activity Fund c/o University Village, 4701 Campus Village Drive, Round Rock, Texas 78665.
A graveside service with military honors will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
