Aruna (Adhikari) Battalana, 54, of Maumelle passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008. She was a member of Shepard of Peace Lutheran Church in Maumelle.
She is survived by her father, Col. Pryio Adhikari; mother, Dr. Enid Mary Theophlius, both of India; four sisters, Regina Martinez, of Houston, Texas, Dr. Neema Suphan, of Maumelle, Dee Adams, of Washington State and Ruby Segal, of India; two nieces, Alicia Suphan and Sunnia Segal; nephew, Charlie Martinez and a special friend, Linda Williams.
Memorials may be made to Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
