Listen to Obituary

Ashley Landry Knowles, 38, of West Little Rock, Arkansas, was called to heaven on March 17, 2026. Born on April 8, 1987, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Kammy Iguess, Ashley lived a life defined by genuine love, unwavering authenticity, and an extraordinary ability to uplift everyone around her.

Ashley greeted everyone she met with a genuine smile that lingered long after she left the room. Her superpower was overcoming any circumstance with grace and resilience, rooted in a day-to-day demeanor of complete authenticity and a sounding board for anyone who needed one. She was easy to love-her caring personality sincere and gracious. She never complained, always sought harmony with no strings attached, and found the good in every situation, even the most difficult ones. Her ability to connect and communicate with anyone was evident to all who knew her.

Her greatest accomplishment and deepest joy was her family. Being a mother and making Jared a dad was her biggest dream come true. Their son, Milo, was the light of her life. Ashley was blessed to witness his first steps and beamed with pride when his first word was "Mama"-a moment that melted her heart and satisfied her competitive spirit. On phone calls catching up with friends and family, "Mama" was what others most often heard, accompanied by Milo's little laughs and Ashley's joyful responses. She poured her heart into motherhood, balancing it beautifully with her professional life.

Ashley thrived in her 20-year tenure at Dillard's, a career that began in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and took her wherever opportunities arose within the company. She embraced challenges, relocated as needed, and earned many promotions, awards, and recognition along the way-culminating in her final promotion to Dillard's Corporate Headquarters. Her coworkers were like family; she loved her work and the people who shared it with her.

A lover of simple joys, Ashley adored the beach. At any opportunity, she preferred to settle on the sandy shores, read a book, and relax-finding peace in the rhythm of the waves.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Jared Knowles, whom she met as sophomores in high school in 2003 and married in 2009; their 3-year-old son, Milo; her mother, Kammy Iguess; her brothers, Derrick and Aidan; along with many other family members, extended family, friends, in-laws, and coworkers who will forever feel the void left by her loss. Ashley was a loving wife, an amazing mother, and a cherished part of everyone's life she touched. Her passions were her family and friends-she cared for others intently, always putting them above herself.

Though her time here was far too short, Ashley's legacy of kindness, strength, and love will endure in every smile she inspired and every heart she warmed.
