Austin E. Smith, 77 of North Little Rock, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2007. He was a loving and devoted Husband, and precious Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Laveta (Orman) Smith; 2 daughters, Linda (Roy) Adkins, and Sharon (Griff) Caples, both of North Little Rock; 2 granddaughters, Stephanie (Tony) Wilson of Warren, and Amanda (Jeremy) Eaker of Jacksonville; 2 great-granddaughters, Lindsay Connell and Whitney Wilson and one great-grandson, Luke Wilson; 2 sisters, Lucille Adcock of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and Trudi Smith of Jay, Oklahoma; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Austin was a member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a Shriner, and a member of Big Rock Lodge. He loved to hunt, fish, play pool, and bowl.
Funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
