Though her early years were not easy, Avaline became a woman of remarkable strength and compassion, using her life experiences to become a source of comfort and care for others. Her generous spirit shone brightly through her big, loving heart. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and for always putting others before herself. In her free time, Avaline found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed watching Lifetime movies, with a particular fondness for Little House on the Prairie. She loved cooking big meals for her family, especially during the holidays, when her home was filled with laughter and togetherness. She also enjoyed fishing, dancing, and the occasional trip to Oaklawn to try her luck at the slot machines. A devoted collector of angels, Avaline filled her home with angel figurines, a reflection of her nurturing soul.
Above all, Avaline cherished her family. She adored her daughter, Ashton (Wawan) Gunawan, and was a proud grandmother to Sapphira and Axl. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces, Tasha and Stephanie Keener, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
