Ava Mae Goad, 88, of North Little Rock, Arkansas (formerly of Beebe, Arkansas) left this life peacefully on September 7th, 2021.

She was born in Beebe, Arkansas on February 25, 1933 to the late Wesley and Mae Howell Thomason along with her twin sister Eva Fay.  She resided most of her life in North Little Rock and was a member of the Levy United Methodist Church.

Both the girls (Ava and Eva) attended nursing school at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock and both went on to become Nurse Anesthetist.  Ava worked for over 30 years at the VA Hospital in Little Rock.

Ava is preceded in death by her husband Billie D. Goad.  She is survived by her son Ken Goad (Michelle) of Maumelle, three grandsons, Wesley, Mason and Conor, by four great-grandchildren, her sister Eva Fay Morgan, and by special friend Phyllis Bearden.

The family would like to express their appreciation to past and present staff at Fox Ridge in Bryant.
